Update from 2026:
The course will feature up to 2 students per Reformer, creating a collaborative learning environment. When one student performs the exercises, the other observes, spots, and learns how to cue and correct — deepening understanding and developing sharper teaching skills.
Entry Requirements
Attended at least 20 Pilates Reformer classes
(Can be completed at Tirisula or other studios — if have not, check out our class packages)
Pilates Matwork Certification recommended
(Or complete our online Matwork course)
No prior anatomy knowledge needed — you’ll learn everything here
Certification Requirements
To graduate and receive your certificate, complete:
6-Day In-Person Course (18 hrs)
30 Hours Teaching Classes
20 Hours Reformer Practice (Attending classes after course finish)
20 Hours Online Anatomy
20 Hours Class Planning
12 Hours Project Work
Final Exams:
🧠 Theory (Multiple Choice)
💪 Practical (Exercise Performance)
🗣️ Teaching (Lead a Full Class)
Min 70% to pass for each category. If not, can take re-exam at $75 ($81.75 w/GST) for each segment.

Extended In-Person Training: Now 6 days × 4 hours (24 hours total) — more time for practice, feedback, and hands-on correction with our Master Trainers.
Enhanced Teaching Experience: Increase from 30 to 40 teaching hours, giving you more real-life classroom experience to refine your skills and build confidence before certification.
The rest of the certification requirements remain the same — ensuring a balanced blend of study, practice, and professional readiness.
