Job Title: Pilates Reformer and Matwork Instructor With or Without Experience (Training Provided)

Job Type: Part-time/Full-time

We are currently seeking dedicated Pilates Reformer Instructors to join our team and help our clients achieve their fitness goals.

Job Description:

As a Pilates Reformer Instructor you will be responsible for leading group classes and providing individualized instruction to clients of all fitness levels. Your primary goal is to deliver safe and effective Pilates workouts on the reformer machine/mat while ensuring that each client’s needs and goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Instruction and Demonstration: Instruct clients on the proper use of Pilates reformer equipment, demonstrating exercises with correct form and technique.

2. Program Development:Create customized Pilates workouts based on individual client needs, goals, and any specific limitations or injuries.

3. Class Management: Lead group Pilates Reformer classes, ensuring that clients receive a balanced and challenging workout.

4. Client Assessment: Conduct initial client assessments to determine posture, fitness levels, goals, and any medical considerations.

5. Progress Tracking: Maintain records of client progress, updating workout plans as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.

6. Safety and Form: Emphasize the importance of proper alignment, posture, and breathing techniques to prevent injury and maximize the benefits of Pilates.

7. Client Engagement: Foster a positive and supportive studio environment, providing motivational encouragement and feedback to clients.

8. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of Pilates reformer equipment.

Qualifications:

– Certification: A valid Pilates Reformer Instructor certification from a recognized organization. For those without certification but with a keen interest in fitness, you can apply and training is provided with a bond agreement of 3 years

– Experience: Prior experience in teaching Pilates Reformer classes is preferred not esssential for those keen in fitness or with other coaching experience

– CPR/AED Certification: Must have a current CPR/AED certification.

– Strong Communication: Effective communication skills to connect with clients and provide clear instructions.

– Anatomy Knowledge: A good understanding of human anatomy and how it relates to Pilates.

– Passion for Fitness: A genuine passion for Pilates and helping clients achieve their fitness goals.

– Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills and a client-focused approach.

– Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with other fitness professionals and studio staff.

Working Hours:

The schedule for this position may include monrings, evenings and weekends, based on class and client availability. Part-time and full-time positions are available.
