AGREEMENT TO TERMS & ACCEPTANCE

By checking “I agree to the Terms & Conditions” and completing a purchase/booking, you agree to be bound by the then-current Terms.

1) Definitions

“Company” means Tirisula World Pte Ltd, WSA Pte Ltd, and Tirisula Yoga Pilates franchisees operating in Singapore.

“Studio” means Company-operated locations.

“Member” means a person who creates an account and purchases a class, package, or course.

“Credit” means a unit used to book a class.

“Package” means a pre-paid bundle of Credits with a validity period.

“Course/Training” means instructor education programs.

“Workshop” means special events or short-format training.

By purchasing or attending, you agree to these Terms.

 

2) Changes to Terms & Schedule

We may update these Terms; changes take effect upon posting on our site/app and apply prospectively. Schedules, instructors, and formats may change as reasonably required.

 

3) Bookings, Entry & Waitlist

  • Booking: via our app/website up to 2 weeks in advance (unless stated).
  • Arrival/entry: Arrive 5 minutes early. Late entry is permitted only within the first 5 minutes (quietly, at the instructor’s discretion). After 5 minutes, no entry and the Credit is charged.
  • Check-in: Ensure your name is on the roster before entering.
  • Waitlist: If a spot opens, you may be auto-added; please check the app yourself up to 2 hours before start. If you are not moved off the waitlist, your Credit is auto-returned after the class ends.
  • Third-party platforms: If you booked via a third-party (e.g., ClassPass), their policies apply and we cannot override them.

 

4) Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Early cancellation: Cancel ≥ 8 hours before class start → Credit returns to your package automatically.
  • Late cancellation/no-show: Cancel < 8 hours or fail to attend → Credit is charged.
  • Studio-initiated cancellation: If we cancel a class, your Credit is returned automatically (no extra compensation).

 

5) Packages & Credits

  • Currency: All prices are SGD, GST-inclusive.
  • Validity: Each Package states its validity at purchase. Unused Credits expire with the Package expiry date.
  • Activation: If a Package requires activation, activate within 60 days of purchase or it is forfeited.
  • Non-transfer/refund/share: Packages are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not shareable unless expressly stated at purchase.
  • Extensions: One 2-month extension per Package for $54.50. Request before expiry via WhatsApp +65 8851 6153.
  • Pauses: One continuous pause for 3–12 months per Package: $54.50 to pause and $54.50 to reactivate. No bookings during a pause. Request before expiry via WhatsApp +65 8851 6153.
  • No combining: You cannot use both an extension and a pause on the same Package.
  • Expired Packages: All remaining Credits are forfeited on expiry.
  • Relocation transfer: At our discretion, unused Credits may be transferred to a nominated person upon evidence of permanent relocation and an admin fee of $54.50 is payable.
  • Monitoring: Members are responsible for tracking validity and usage.

 

6) Refunds & Price Adjustments

6.1 Promo code not applied at checkout (24-hour window)

During a valid promotion period, if a valid promo code was not applied at checkout for an eligible package (Discovery Packs excluded), you may request a refund within twenty-four (24) hours of purchase by contacting us via WhatsApp at +65 8851 6153 and providing your order details. If approved, we will refund the Amount Paid (inclusive of GST) less the applicable Flat Processing & Card-Fee Recovery, after which you may repurchase at the promotional rate. Requests received after twenty-four (24) hours from the purchase timestamp are ineligible. All requests remain subject to the promotion’s eligibility rules and validity period. If the net amount after the recovery charge is zero or negative, no refund is due.

“Amount Paid” means the total sum you paid at checkout for the package, inclusive of GST and after any discounts, promo codes, or credits applied.

“Flat Processing & Card-Fee Recovery” is a GST-inclusive recovery charge reflecting non-refundable payment gateway and administrative costs, applied per package category as follows:

— Starter/Active Packs: SGD $70

— Power / Elite Packs: SGD $110

— Ultimate Packs: SGD $170

(Discovery Packs are excluded from refunds.)

These flat recovery amounts reflect non-refundable payment processing fees and reasonable administrative costs incurred in handling refund requests.

6.2 No refunds for packages (whether activated or unactivated)

All packages are strictly non-refundable whether or not they have been activated. A package is deemed activated once any booking is made (even if later cancelled). Credits that remain unused at expiry are forfeited and not refundable.

 

7) Membership & Conduct

Membership and access may be refused, suspended, or terminated for safety, misconduct, or policy breaches. Intro offers are for new members only unless stated.

 

8) Equipment, Attire & RX Sessions

  • Grip socks: Compulsory for Pilates Reformer/Wunda-Chair/Tower/Ladder-Barrel classes. No socks → no entry → Credit charged. Socks are available for purchase in studio.
  • Attire: Wear appropriate activewear; remove outdoor footwear before entering studio areas.
  • RX sessions: Video-led and unsupervised. Follow on-screen guidance and participate within your limits.

 

9) Safety, Eligibility & Pregnancy

Minimum age:
Yoga: 14 years and above with parent/guardian consent.
Pilates Reformer / Wunda-Chair / Tower / Ladder-Barrel: 16 years and above. We may refuse minors for safety reasons.

Weight limits (equipment safety):
For safety and to comply with equipment manufacturer specifications:
• At Kovan 1, Kovan 2 and Paya Lebar studios, the Wunda-Chairs, Towers, Ladder-Barrel and Reformers have a maximum user weight limit of 90kg.
• At CBD and Lavender studios, the Reformers and Towers have a maximum user weight limit of 110kg.
If, in our reasonable opinion, a Member exceeds the relevant equipment weight limit, instructors and staff may refuse participation in that class or on that equipment for safety reasons. Where participation is refused solely on this basis, any class Credit used for that booking will be returned to the Member’s account, and we may assist with recommending suitable alternatives.

Health:
Exercise involves inherent risk. Members must ensure they are fit to participate, practice within their limits, and inform instructors of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or concerns before class.

Pregnancy:
Participation in regular classes while pregnant requires medical clearance and instructor approval. Members must attend only classes deemed suitable by their healthcare provider and the instructor. We may refuse participation where, in our reasonable opinion, it is unsafe to proceed.

 

10) Personal Belongings

Bring belongings at your own risk. We are not liable for loss/damage.

 

11) Workshops, Retreats & Courses (Customer-initiated changes)

Workshops

  • Cancel ≥ 72 hours before start: refund minus $54.50 admin fee and any actual bank/Stripe charges (if any).
  • Cancel < 72 hours: no refund.
  • No postponements unless stated; not transferable unless stated.

Retreats

  • Cancel ≥ 60 days before start: 100% refund minus $54.50 admin fee and any actual bank/Stripe charges (if any).
  • Cancel 31–59 days before start: 50% refund minus $54.50 admin fee and any actual bank/Stripe charges (if any).
  • Cancel ≤ 30 days (or after start): no refund.

Courses/Trainings

  • Cancel ≥ 60 days before course start: 100% refund minus $54.50 admin fee and any actual bank/Stripe charges (if any).
  • Cancel 31–59 days before course start: 50% refund minus $54.50 admin fee and any actual bank/Stripe charges (if any).
  • Cancel ≤ 30 days (or after start): no refund.
  • Course postponement (start date): $545, one-time only, must attend within 12 months, and top-up any fee difference if the new cohort fee is higher.
  • Completion window: The course must be fully completed within one (1) year from the date of payment. If the course is not completed within this period, all fees paid are strictly forfeited and shall be non-refundable and non-exchangeable for classes, packages, or any other products or services.

Exams & Evaluations

  • Exam postponement: $54.50, with ≥ 3 days’ notice (unlimited postponements; scheduling subject to availability).
  • Re-exam fee (per section: practical / teaching / theory): $81.75; maximum two (2) attempts per section, after which retraining is required. Retraining is chargeable separately — please contact us to confirm the applicable retraining fees.
  • Re-evaluation fee (prior to live-class teaching): $54.50.

  • Deadline: Complete all re-assessments within 6 months of your course end date. Failure to complete required re-assessments within this period will result in forfeiture of exam eligibility and no refund.

 

12) Photos/Recording

We may record in-studio content for marketing. If you prefer not to appear, inform the instructor and we will seat you out of frame.

 

13) Privacy & PDPA

We collect, use and disclose personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and our Privacy Notice available on our website. We collect and use personal data to provide services, manage accounts, and send service or marketing communications. You can update preferences or unsubscribe at any time via the app/email. Payments are processed by secure providers; full card details are not stored by us.

 

14) Service Communications

Operational notices (e.g., booking confirmations, waitlist movements, cancellations) may be sent via the app, WhatsApp and email. Ensure your contact details and notification settings are current. For waitlist, you must check the app yourself as separate notifications may not be sent.

 

15) Studio Relocation / Availability

Studios may be refurbished, relocated, or temporarily closed for maintenance or events. Packages remain valid across our Singapore locations; refunds are not provided for relocations within Singapore.

16) Liability & Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

(a) We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage, or loss of profit, arising out of or in connection with your bookings, attendance, or use of our services or facilities.

(b) Our total aggregate liability for any direct loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your bookings, attendance, or use of our services or facilities is limited to the total fees you paid to us in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

(c) This Section 16 does not exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Singapore law.

Members agree to follow studio instructions, use equipment responsibly, and ensure they are fit to participate.

 

17) Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

  • Disputes: Parties will first attempt good-faith negotiation, then mediation, and finally the Singapore courts if unresolved.
  • Governing law: Laws of Singapore.

 

18) Variations

We may amend these Terms and fees from time to time. The then-current version on our site/app applies prospectively to future purchases and bookings.
