Recipe for Kapha body types

Spiced Steamed Vegetables for Kapha body types
1 tbsp corn oil
1 tbsp finely chopped ginger 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped 1 onion, diced
1 tbsp turmeric
2 cups cauliflower floretts
2 cups broccoli floretts
1 cup zucchinni, sliced
1 cup potato, diced
1 cup pumpkin, diced
Pinch of salt and pepper Sunflower seeds as garnish
Warm the oil in a large saucepan and sauté the ginger, garlic, onion and turmeric, stirring frequently until fragrant (about one minute or two). Add the cauliflower, broccoli, zucchinni, potato and pumpkin with a little water and simmer until vegetables have softened a bit (about 5 minutes). Season with a dash of salt and pepper and sprinkle with sunflower seeds as garnish. Serve hot.
