Open Mindedness

We are now on our third week of YTT 200 hours and today was all about Teaching.   I am very grateful to be part of my class and Tirisula’s 200hours YTT course.  Learning never ends, you need to have an open mind to absorb new experiences and continuously explore in how to assist others and at the same time to look after yourself.  Yoga is a way of life, it’s not just about balancing, flexibility nor strengthening.  It’s you connecting to yourself and acknowledging that you are committed to discover positive things and cultivate self compassion.  Acceptance gives us a feeling of calming and release, even allowing to see our own perfections and imperfections and realizing that they are equally part of who we are.  We are all work in progress, be gentle and patient.  Let’s be less critical to ourselves, and acknowledge that we are in a journey.  Have an open mind.   

 

I am really interested to read The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali’ by Swami Satchidananda, heard good reviews and looking forward to reading this after the YTT 🙂 to learn more about Yoga Sutras.
