My journey to YTT

One day, I red a book called “Lean In”, written by Sheryl Sandberg. In this book, she asked “What would you do if you were not afraid?”. This is what I did.
I tried yoga when I moved to Singapore about 4 years ago. I didn’t really like to studio feel as the spiritual dimension of the yoga was not explained to us during the class. At that time, I only discovered the physical side of yoga and that was not enough for me.
I particularly didn’t like the lack of interaction between students and between students and teachers.
So I started reading and practicing at home, watching videos on youtube, or taking punctual classes abroad when I was travelling for work. My interest started to grow.
I loved the theory part of yoga and I really wanted to know more about the benefits of each pose.
On the other side, I experienced a lot of health issues in the past few months and I wanted to prove myself that I was capable of doing something like that. I knew I could do it, but a small part of myself was telling me that this would be too intense for me.
So I trusted my instinct and I signed up for the 200H YTT at Tirisula Yoga. I never regretted this decision!  This is really the place I should be right now.
I love the energy of the class, this group learning together from great teachers. Students helping others with whatever they feel stronger at, this mutual aid group.
I forgot how much I loved learning and sharing with others.
I also love the routine of a continuous practice, the determination that we all have to be there, at 80b Arab Street, every morning at 7:30 am.
This is very precious for me and I am so grateful to be able to do this YTT with all of you.
