Green Smoothie with Avocado

Avocados have been cultivated since 8,000BC. They are valued for their good taste and health benefits. Avocados are known as a source of good fats, heart-healthy monounsaturated fats. Avocados also include fiber and an avocado provides 9.2 grams of fiber. In addition, they contain minerals (potassium, copper, magnesium) and vitamins (K, C, Pantothenic Acid). The health benefits of avocado are as below:
1. To promote healthy bones
2. To keep eyes healthy
3. To promote good digestion
4. To help in controlling blood pressure levels
5. To reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and cancer
6. To reduce the risk of inflammatory and degenerative disorders
Avocado Smoothie with Baby Spinach and Banana(Vegan)
Ingredient: 1 ripe banana
Half of avocado
1 handful of baby spinach
1/2 cup of blueberries (optional)
1/2 cup of almond milk (sweetened or unsweetened)
Direction
Place all the ingredients listed above into a blender and blend well.
You can put some granola for topping. This creamy green smoothie with avocado is one of my favorite recipes for breakfast. If you are not a vegan, you can use cow’s milk instead of almond milk.
