Delicious Recipe for Banana Loaf


Please feel free to change any of the ingredients to your own taste buds, for example if you feel that it’s too moist perhaps add less bananas.

I have also done this with adding pineapples and coconuts which also came out delicious, so I hope it inspires you to create your own personal banana bread.

It is delicious to have for breakfast or a nice cup of tea or coffee 😛

The banana loaf freezes beautifully, I slice it up and put it in the freezer and any time a friend pops round,  I pop it out of the freezer and in the toaster which gives it a nice crisp 😉                                                                                                                                          


Ingredients for Banana Loaf

110g – butter

110g  – brown sugar

3 – eggs beaten

350g – plain flour

2 teaspoon baking soda

6 – very ripenbananas

200g dried cranberries

50g chopped armaments

For topping

50g chopped armaments

Instructions to bake Banana Loaf:

1. Preheat oven 140C

2. Likely Greece 2 x loaf pan

3. Combine the butter & sugar until creamy.

4. Add banana, mix well until combined

5.  Add eggs, one by one mix well to combined

6.  sift flour & baking soda in a bowl & combined with mixture

7. At Cranberries and 50g chopped armaments

8. Pour mixture into loaf pan, top with 50g chopped armaments

9. Place on middle shelf in oven

10. Bake for 1 hour 15 min or until an inserted skewer comes out clean

11. Invert loaf on a wire rack and allow to call

12. Serve and enjoy
