Case Study:  Subject:  43 Years old, Male with right Scoliosis, no pain (Mr J) – by Jasmine

Main Focus:  Lengthening & Elongating the Spine.

  1. Sun Salutation (modified version)
  2. Tadasana against the wall
  3. Urdhva Hastasana
    1. feet apart or together
    2. Interlocking fingers on top
    3. Extend the hands to the left & right
  4. Utkatasana with wall
    1. Hands on hips
    2. Raise hands
  5. Trikonasana with wall and chair
    1. Extend hands to the side & rest on back of chair
  6. Parsvottanasana with chair
    1. Forward Bend from hips, extend hands forward and rest hands on the back of the chair
  7. Spinal Balance
    1. Table Top (Stretch out opposite hand and leg)
  8. Adho Mukha Svanasana  (on ropes if available) -> Santolasana (Plank Pose) -> Adho Mukha Virasana
  9. Parighasana (Gate Pose)
  10. Janu Sirsasana
  11. Bharadvajasana (focus more on the weaker side)
  12. Prone Naukasana (mild extension) – Superman
  13. Supine table top + toe taps
  14. Single Leg Raise (with stripes)
  15. Single Pawan Muktasana  (Hug Knees to chest)
  16. Jathara Parivartasana (Lying Spinal Twist)
