To many people who go to yoga studios to practice yoga, the benefits of yoga can mostly be the benefits from fitness or exercises. But, there are many more benefits yoga can bring for us in our daily life. Here are few I have benefited from yoga personally.
First, Fitness All-Round: We are truly healthy when are are not just physically fit but also mentally and emotionally balanced when practicing yoga. Second, Weight-Loss: regular practice of yoga help us to become more sensitive to the kind of food our body asks for and when. This can also help keep a check on weight. Third, Stress-Relief: Even just a few minutes of yoga during the day can be a great way to get rid of stress from work or busy life. Forth, Increased Energy: Daily yoga practice provides the secret to feel fresh and energetic even after a long day. Meditation makes us feel refreshed and recharged in the middle of a hectic day. Fifth, Improved Immunity: Many of yoga poses massage organs and strengthen our muscles; breathing exercise and meditation help to release stress and improve immunity.
There are many more benefits we can enjoy from practicing yoga, I will continue to discover more in my yoga journey.
