Ayurveda Dosha

There are three main Dosha namely Vata, Pitta and Kapha. What’s your Ayurveda Dosha? I’m a Kapha Dosha.

Kapha Elements: Water and Earth

Kapha Person usually have large bone, broad hips, broad shoulders, fleshy nose, strong hair. Kapha person also tend to sleep excessively and eating is our great passion. Kapha person also tend to gain weight easily hence, self control is very important for a Kapha person.

Overeating is a big NONO and balance diet is very very important. Regular exercise is very important for a Kapha person to avoid overweight.

What are the DO & DON’T diet for Kapha?

Apple, Berries, Cranberries, Pears

Pineapple and banana. Too bad! I really like pineapple and banana

Lettuce, Broccoli, Carrot, Radish

Sweet and juicy varieties of vegetable

Chicken, Turkey

Red meat

Food which are dry, light, warming, pungent and bitter are welcome for Kapha person while Kapha person has to avoid sour, salty, sweet and oily food.
