Depression is a chronic illness in which the feeling of overwhelming heaviness or sadness that last for more than a few days or does not go away affecting one’s daily activities. Untreated depression can lead to very serious situtation such as suicide.

A person suffering from depression is always lack of energy, irritable, and can withdraw from friends and family. What used to excite them doesn’t seem to work anymore. Living with depression is an extremely stressful ordeal for both depressed patient and their loved ones. Fortunately, there have been many researches that have proved that yoga helps depression victims to deal with stress and better control their mind.


What is this workshop about?

Yoga therapy for depression is a 2-day workshop aiming to bring comfort and quality of life to depression patients through specific designed yoga practice that can be self practiced from home.

The structure of the course

  • 2 days – (5.5 hrs/day), 7.30am – 1pm
    • 3 hours – Practice
    • 1 hour – Break
    • 1.5 hours – Theory
