Get to know Pranayama

The impression of Yoga to normal people might be only about Asana. However besides performing presice yoga postures, Pranayama is the same crucial technique need to understand and practice. Some times it’s even ranked over asana as the most important part of the practice.
Prana in Sunskrit means life force or breath sustaining the body; Ayama translates as “to extend or draw out.” Together two mean breath extension or control.

Pranayama usuallay need be performed in empty stomach. The best time for practice is the early morning, preferably before sunrise when the pollution is at its lowlest level, and the body and brain are still free. However, if morning is unsuitable, pranayama may be practiced after sunset, when the air is cool and pleasant. The place suitable for all kinds of Yoga must be clean and calm.
Through the practice of Yoga Asana with relative type of pranayama, the highest form of purification and self-disciplin (covering both mind and body) can be obtained. The wonderful and even unimaginable benefits will be experienced finally.
