Headstands ( Sirsasana)

Sirsasana also known as the “King of Asanas” because of its healing power, once I tried to get myself inverted I get addicted to it.

This asana revitalizes the entire body and opens, balances, and calms the Crown Chakra. Stimulation of this chakra may make you experience periods of bliss, divine connection, unity, peace, beauty, and much more.

The inversed position of it ensures the healthy pure blood flow to our brain cells. It stimulates the nervous system, increasing mental alertness and clarity. At the same time the de-oxygenated blood is able to flow more easily from the extremities to the heart and take away all the trapped fluid in our body to prevent edema over the lower extremities.

It helps to improve your shoulder stability and also strengthen your core muscle like obliques, trasverse abdominus and rectus abdominus.

Those I mentioned just a tiny part of benefits for practicing this asana. For me the most important feeling in this inversion asana just like I can shift all my worries and negative feelings to the earth and make me having space creating more happiness and positive thought in my mind.The lightness feelings in this asana is amazing to me too.
