Utthita Trikonasana is significance to me because it presents stability, strength and steadiness. Trikona means 3 angles, pose in triangle.
Triangle also represents the Mind, Body and Spirit Triangle mentioned in my blog on self realization.
Realised I have no arm strength and hand grips last year. My stamina and strength deteriorated. I have been neglecting my body and mind for the past 3 years due to work load and responsibility.
This asana looks simple but it consists of many movement.
Alignment in 1 line is important.
Therapeutically it helps to relieve my long time backaches and neck sprains after so much laptop syndrome. Need to practice more and open hip more :p
