Pilates SingaporeWhat is Pilates Pilates developed by Joseph Pilates is a
form of exercise, focusing on the enhancement of the body through
core strength, flexibility, and awareness in order to support
efficient and balanced movement. This is the fundamental in all Pilates
exercises. The muscles of the core refers to the inner deep muscles
at the abdominal-pelvic region
and the back of the torso. Developing the core muscles through the
exercises strengthens them further as well as lends support to the
superficial muscles to greater support the spine and enable
effective movement.
The Pilates Singapore classes
conducts both mat classes and mat courses for would-be instructors.
Pilates Singapore accommodates a maximum of 8 students per
class. The instructor gives individual attention to all the
students, correcting the alignment, postural analysis and the usage
of muscles. Breathing is a key component in the classes and
the instructor guides the students in proper breathing techniques.
